it's probably not going to look very good for a little while. i've never done this before and am learning as i go, i'm trying to remember to be patient with myself hahah!
honestly i'm just sick of the internet being governed by a handful of social media website and corporations, i remember how wild and free it felt when i was a kid on the family computer, and it seems i'm very much not the only one.
eventually i'd like to use this as a space to talk about the music and artists that i love, i'm a songwriter and producer myself with a plan to become a freelance music journalist as well. it would be awesome to run a blog on here where i can put my thinkpieces and reviews, as well as somewhere to showcase my own work that isn't just soundcloud (although please do check out my soundcloud if you're interested, here it is!).
i guess the plan is to create a digital portfolio for my music and music-related work. and learn some valuable skills about website-building and html along the way!
i fully don't expect anyone to come across this for a while, i'm likely going to delete all this text later but right now i'm just gonna learn the basics and have fun with it. maybe i could move this lil introduction to its own page one day, turn it into a journal of my progress or something? that could be nice...
i'm going to figure out how to put some cool stuff on this page and it's going to look messy and ugly as hell. i can't wait!
